George at Studio Tideland was excellent when I required two sets of mixed tracks for a friend’s wedding. In the first instance, he was mindful to consider all my very specific requests and was quick and effective in modifying it to get it to me in time. The second instance required a quick turnaround and again, it was exactly what I described and had in mind. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend his services!
Working with George Tas was an amazing intergalactic experience, I was on the dark side of the moon and he was scouting the universe near a blasting star, capturing its sounds, nevertheless we managed to overcome the distance factor and collaborate on a wonderful piece entitled Platypus. The work received an overwhelming response from aliens throughout the Milky Way, caused havoc until there was a decree for it never to be heard again. Sketched Worlds
Working with George was an absolute delight. Giving him a quick outline of all the sound design needed and what style we were after for our play ‘The Shadow Over Innsmouth’, he took it upon himself to immerse himself in the source material of our project. Overall, only small changes were needed, that he delivered on within a day. The work, and the man, were ultimately extremely enjoyable! The slapping of wet towels for certain sounds remains the standout moment of working together.
